Building with Natural Building Materials

We started researching natural & sustainable building products 7 years ago and have been working ever since to implement as many as possible. We are also working to establish our own natural building system and material supply chain. Here are a few projects we have worked on using hempcrete and other natural building materials.

La Veta Project

We are proud to have assisted the owner/designer with this project in La Veta, Colorado. The garage/greenhouse and single family home are constructed using hempcrete and other natural building materials. We worked on the hempcrete install and plastering of both buildings and were able to gain a great deal of knowledge and experience with these amazing new building materials.

South Bend Industrial Hemp Demo

We were very lucky to have participated in a hempcrete demonstration hosted by SBIH and put on by Ray Kaderli of the Hemp Build Network. SBIH is an outstanding family farm and processing company making big strides in the industrial hemp industry. We helped to build a wall/roof section using the traditional "cast in place" method of hempcrete installation. We also made connections with some amazing people working hard to push this new industry.

Global Fiber Hempcrete Demo

We were asked to put on a hempcrete demonstration at the grand opening of the Global Fiber Processing Facility in Monte Vista, Colorado. This brand new processing facility is now supplying colorado and surrounding areas with high quality hemp hurd for a variety of different uses including some of the hempcrete used to build the La Veta Project.
